Dạng Pie chart (biểu đồ tròn) là một trong những dạng hay gặp nhất của IELTS Writing Task 1. Trang này gồm cách nhận biết, dàn bài, lỗi hay gặp - và danh sách đề để bạn luyện ngay: bấm vào đề bất kỳ để viết và được chấm band, lỗi sai đánh dấu ngay trong bài.

Nhận biết dạng đề

Biểu đồ tròn thể hiện tỷ trọng các phần trong một tổng thể, thường so sánh hai năm hoặc hai nhóm.

Dàn bài 4 đoạn

1. Mở bài: Paraphrase đề: tỷ trọng của cái gì, ở đâu, năm nào.
2. Overview: Phần lớn nhất, và thay đổi đáng chú ý nhất giữa các biểu đồ.
3. Thân bài 1: Các phần tăng tỷ trọng (hoặc các phần lớn).
4. Thân bài 2: Các phần giảm hoặc giữ nguyên.

Mẹo để lên band

• Đa dạng cách nói tỷ lệ: a quarter, just under half, the majority, a small minority.
• Dùng account for, make up, constitute để tránh lặp is.
• Khi có hai biểu đồ, so sánh giữa chúng quan trọng hơn mô tả từng biểu đồ.
